I Write

I don't write to be artsy, I'm not trying to sound cute, I write to share insight, knowledge, understanding and truth.  These aren't letters to make me noticed, they're not poems to be praised.  They're righteous words to be carved into a heart and engraved.  It's not an essay or a thesis, for the argument of a degree.  It is written for the blind to the truth they may not see.  I don't write to express opinion, my own theory, view or point.  I'm not writing for approval, but every reader must make a choice.  Do I write from His Wisdom?  Is it wrote from His truth?  Is it composed by His Spirit?  Is His Spirit talking to you?            Written by Righteous Words 

Knowledge without wisdom

can be a dangerous thing.

Knowledge is best used when 

God gives us wisdom to understand,

and use what we know.

IMPOSSIBLE SITUATIONS

Impossible situations is what God specializes in.  What looks so dark to us is completely clear to Him.  There are no problems that He cannot solve.  There are no conflicts that He cannot resolve.

A question comes to mind though, What is my part?  Is there something I must do to make the miracle start?  The only place I know that I should be, is in the middle of God's will that He has for me.

My heart is ever open to listen for a word from Him, To move with action and accomplish His instruction.  I endeavor to be strong and to prepare myself well, so when I'm called to act, I'll do my part well.

Nothing is impossible to God, for those that believe, so within that promise there's something that tells me, I've got a part to play in this vast array of time.  I'm to believe, if I expect the miracle to be mine.

AS A MINISTER OF THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST, THE INSPIRATION TO WRITE THIS LITTLE POEM, "VICTORY SURVIVAL", CAME TO ME DURING THE NIGHT, AS A MESSAGE FROM GOD.  AS OFTEN OCCURS IN PREPARATION OF SERMONS, I AWOKE WITH SUDDEEN ALERTNESS.  THERE WAS NEED TO WRITE MY THOUGHT DOWN.  I WENT TO MY STUDY, THEN BEGAN TO WRITE THOSE THINGS GOD HAD PUT ON MY HEART.  WITHOUT ANY THOUGHT OF RESPONSE, I PURSUED THE MAILING.  THANKS TO GOD, THIS LITTLE POEM TOUCHED SOMEONE'S HEART.  MY PRAYER IS THAT IT WILL TOUCH OTHERS, AS WELL.

HE'S THE MIRACLE OF THE AGE.  HE SUPPLIES STRENGTH FOR THE WEAK.  HE'S AVAILABLE FOR THE TEMPTED AND THE TRIED.  HE SYMPATHIZES AND HE SAVES.  HE GUARDS AND HE GUIDES.  HE HEALS THE SICK, HE CLEANS THE LEPERS, HE FORGIVES SINNERS, HE DISCHARGES DEBTORS, HE DELIVERS CAPTIVES, HE DEFENDS THE FEEBLE, HE BLESSES THE YOUNG, HE SERVES THE UNFORTUNATE, HE REGARDS THE AGED, HE REWARDS THE DILIGENT, HE BEAUTIFIES THE MEEK.  DO YOU KINOW HIM?  HE'S MY KING!    HIS NAME IS JESUS!!!

HE'S THE KING OF KNOWLEDGE...THE WELL-SPRING OF WISDOM...THE DOORWAY OF DELIVERAN CE...THE PATHWAY OF PEACE, HE'S THE ROADWAY OF RIGHTEOUSNESS...THE HIGHWAY OF HOLINESS...THE GATEWAY OF GLORY...THE MASTER OF THE MIGHTY...THE CAPTAIN OF THE CONQUERORS...THE HEAD OF THE HEROES...THE LEADER OF THE LEGISLATORS...THE OVERSEER OF THE OVERCOMERS, HE'S THE GOVERNOR OF GOVERNORS, HE'S THE PRINCE OF PRINCES, HE'S THE KING OF KINGS, AND THE LORD OF LORDDS.   DO YOU KNOW HIM?   HE'S MY KING!!!   HIS NAME IS JESUS!!!

HIS LIFE IS MATCHLESS.  HIS GOODNESS IS LIMITLESS.   HIS MERCY IS EVERLASTING.  HIS LOVE NEVER CHANGES.  HIS WORD IS ENOUGH.  HIS GRACE IS SUFFICIENT.   HIS REIGN IS RIGHTEOUS.  HIS YOKE IS EASY, AND HIS BURDEN IS LIGHT.  DO YOU KNOW HIM?  HE'S MY KING!!!  HIS NAME IS JESUS!!!

I'M TRYING TO DESCRIBE HIM, BUT THE PROBLEM IS THAT HE'S INDESCRIBABLE, AND HE'S IRRESISTIBLE.  HE'S IMCOMPREHENSIBLE.  HE'S INVINCIBLE.  THE PARISEES HATED HIM.  THE JEWS REJECTED HIM.  PILATE CONDEMNED HIM.  THE ROMANS CRUCIFIED HIM.  OUR SINS KILLED HIM.  THE RICH MAN BURIED HIM.  BUT THE GRAVE COULD NOT HOLD HIM, AND DEATH COULD NOT HANDLE HIM.  HE ROSE TRIUMPHANT ON THE THIRD DAY, AND HE ASCENDED INTO HEAVEN, AND HE SITS ENTHRONED AT THE RIGHT HAND OF GOD THE FATHER.  HE IS THE LORD OF HEAVEN, THE LORD OF THE CHURCH, THE LORD OF OUR LIVES.  HE IS OUR HIGH PRIEST IN HEAVEN.  HE IS THE GREAT KING WHO IS COMING SOON.  THAT'S WHO JESUS IS.  DO YOU KNOW HIM?  IS HE YOUR KING?  IS HE YOUR SAVIOR?  IS HE YOUR LORD?

 SAFE IN HIS ARMS

Three days ago, satan attacked me with another poisonous dart, sadness.  I fought against feeling sad all day.  As soon as I got in bed, I felt a peace, comfort and encouragement in my heart that can only come from lying safely in the arms of Jesus.  It doesn't matter how much the world and satan attacks us, and what they attack us with, because in the arms of Jesus there is safety.

I had a bad dream the other night about a tornado.  In my dream, I went to a storm shelter, Angie was there.  I remember saying hello to her, and then I woke up.  I realized it had only been a dream.  Since I know several people named Angie, and wasn't sure which Angie had been in the dream, I prayed for every Angie in the world.  When we have a bad dream, as soon as we wake up we can thank Jesus for His arms of protection, and pray for the people who were in the dream.

Sometimes when we are facing trials, and heartaches it seems like we are an open target for the attacks of the world and satan.  However, in the arms of Jesus there is true safety.  He gently puts His strong, and protective arms around us, and then He shields us from all danger. be it physical, emotional, financial or spiritual.  We can depend on Him because He has promised us He will never leave us or forsake us.

If you are frightened, and discouraged today, I urge you to seek the safety of the arms of Jesus.  He loves you so much, cna yearns to protect you from all harm.  Go to Him, and pour out your heart.  You will be safe in his arms.

FAITH

THE CAPTAIN SETS HIS SAILS BY THE STARS,

HIS VESSEL YIELDED TO A PATH UNKNOWN,

HE PEERS BEYOND THE VELVET DARKNESS

TO A SHORE WHERE NEW LIFE IS SPAWN.

SO WE YIELD OUR LIVES TO A PLAN DIVINE,

FAITHFULLY TRUSTING A JOURNEY UNKNOWN,

FOR WE FOLLOW THE HAND OF PROVIDENCE,

THE BIBLE

The Bible is a set of glasses, that allows me to see.  Things of the spiritual world that have an affect on me.  The Bible is a multi-course meal that helps me to grow, It feeds my spirit and teaches me things I need to know.

The Bible is a lamp that lights a path in front of me.  It disperses the darkness that tries to hold and stop me.  The Bible is a history of how God worked through men.  How He sent His only Son, so my sins could be forgiven.

The Bible is a prayer book of praises to almighty God.  It shows the paths that many saints have already trod.  The Bible is an instructor's manual of how we are to live.  It shows me how to give mercy and how I am to forgive.

The Bible is a songbook, full of love and sweet music.  It's directed by God thru the power of the Holy Spirit.  The Bible is a record of God's words he spoke to man, and He hopes we will read it, enough to understand.

The Bible is a sword that is used in spiritual warfare.  But it's a dual edged sword and must be used with care.  The Bible shields my heart, my soul, and my whole body, and it's a spring of living water, flowing up thru me.

The Bible describes a path God intends for all of us.  It's orgin starts with God and ends with Christ Jesus.  The Holy Spirit is the preserver and sealer of our heart.  He guides each of our footsteps, and He never will deprart.
